Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily functions, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well-presented.

You will train and supervise Store Associates, open/close procedures, and uphold safety, asset protection, and company policies. A high school diploma and store-management experience are preferred; lifting up to 55 lbs is required.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities and assets.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure all assets.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure store areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
