Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. Duties include assisting with daily store activities and ensuring a positive shopping environment for customers and associates.

The role supports opening/closing, merchandise flow, payroll/scheduling, loss prevention, and training Store Associates in a fast-paced, friendly setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store-front fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and supervise Store Associates as needed.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
