Job summary

Dollar Tree in Palmer is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. You will support daily functions and lead a motivated team to meet goals.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, merchandising, scheduling, payroll, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, safe store. You will train Associates and ensure a respectful environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and daily activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure promotional fixtures and displays are effective.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits.
