Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist in merchandise organization, stocking, opening/closing duties, and adherence to company policies as part of a high-energy retail team.

You will help train and supervise store associates, maintain clean and inviting storefronts, and ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and staff while contributing to loss prevention and inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and stocking merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to corporate directives and maintain store standards.
• Support in ordering merch, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
