Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Palmer, MA to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise organization, and daily store activities to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and in payroll/scheduling activities.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets and follow policies and procedures.
• Train and develop Store Associates and oversee a positive work environment.
