Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure shelves and displays are well-maintained.

The role involves supervising and training.Store associates, managing openings and closings, and handling merchandise flow. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior retail leadership beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash reports.
• Maintain clean, organized store and ensure compliance with policies.
