Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flow from delivery to floor. You’ll lead by example in opening/closing procedures and maintain promotional displays.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and a safe, clean store environment. Part-time positions are available, with responsibilities including payroll and cash handling

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience in retail or grocery management is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Maintain promotions and fixtures for merchandising impact.
Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping.
Maintain clean, well-stocked store and stockroom.
Protect store assets including cash and security.
