Job summary

UDF in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Assistant Manager to deliver exceptional Guest Experience and lead the team. You will supervise associates, manage daily store operations, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain safe, customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires leadership, cash handling, and strong English communication. This is a full-time position with shifts including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, and pay is $14.75–$16.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment and read price information.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and make correct change.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and recognize denominations.
• Ability to supervise and coach other associates.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and endure cold temperatures briefly.

Responsibilities

• Manage other associates, assign duties, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and screen applicants.
• Handle store administration tasks like ordering, paperwork, and weekly reports.
• Provide signature Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests warmly and ensure readiness for customers.
• Prepare DipSide items and manage ice cream/yogurt servings as required.
• Operate POS and gas console, complete transactions accurately, and reconcile cash.
• Stock shelves, cabinets, and freezer areas with attention to freshness and display.
• Maintain security and monitor shop-lift risks, manage cash drops per procedures.
• Ensure cleanliness, safe conditions, and proper equipment operation.
• Complete time records and required customer documents accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
