Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with opening and closing, organize merchandise, maintain displays, and ensure policy compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, store management experience in retail, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. You will train associates and uphold a positive, safe shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise, transfer from delivery, and maintain displays.
• Follow corporate directives and ensure policy compliance.
• Support in ordering merchandise and loss prevention efforts.
• Train and develop store associates while maintaining a safe environment.
• Ensure store cleanliness and presentable condition throughout shifts.
