Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training and supervision.

The role includes opening/closing duties, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior store management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and well-stocked store and protect assets.
• Adhere to policies, training Store Associates, and ensure a respectful environment.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; support Store Manager.
