Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and the development of a motivated team. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise flow, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for shoppers.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with a focus on loss prevention, payroll and scheduling support, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain store areas to company standards and ensure security of assets
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates to maintain a safe, respectful environment
• Ensure cleanliness and safe operations across the store
