Dollar Tree Stores in Nampa, Idaho is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, support customers, organize merchandise, and help oversee openings and closings.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, store management experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep bathrooms clean and restocked; sweep and mop floors; take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
