Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and other physical tasks.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
Perform opening and closing procedures and process corporate directives.
Maintain promotional fixtures, manage stock, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
Support loss prevention, safety guidelines, and asset protection.
Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates and maintain a positive work environment.
