Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead frontline customer service and ensure regulatory compliance across our Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store locations. The role emphasizes staff coaching, cash handling, and sales-driven performance.

You will supervise store operations, handle transactions per policy, train team members, and travel within the district as needed; the position requires a high school diploma and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license/insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on products and services to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or district/corporate office when unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process applications or requests.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations.
• Explain solutions and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to clarify information and resolve complaints.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, deposits, and other cash handling tasks.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company procedures; complete trainings.
