Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and oversee day-to-day store operations. You will report to the Store Manager and shape a welcoming, knowledgeable store atmosphere with a focus on customer service and profitability.

The role requires managing payroll, inventory, and staff development, while maintaining compliance with alcohol laws and safety standards. A flexible schedule including evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years retail management or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
