Job summary

The North Face, a VF Corporation brand, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Illinois. You will lead a team to deliver best-in-class customer experiences, partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability, and assume full store responsibility in the Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands-on achievements valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full store responsibility.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing coaching of team members.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and inventory/shipping/stockroom processes.
