7-Eleven, Inc. is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Newark, DE. This role supports the Store Leader, supervises staff, trains team members, and ensures excellent customer service.

You will help implement merchandising programs, manage cash handling and fuel transactions, and promote our loyalty program while maintaining a clean, safe store environment. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with at least one year of retail management experience.

Qualifications

• Oversee customer service leadership and coaching alongside the Store Leader.
• Demonstrate ability to retain staff by developing leaders and empowering employees.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotion.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment with health and sanitation procedures.
• Strong written and oral communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support retention by identifying qualified applicants and developing leaders.
