Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. in the United States is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join its store leadership team. You will work with the Store Leader to supervise staff, deliver customer service, and drive daily operations.

This role emphasizes developing leaders, improving merchandising, managing cash and loyalty programs, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked store. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required with 1+ year of Retail Management experience.
• Retail management experience considered in lieu of education.
• Strong leadership and customer service capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, empower employees, and promote retention.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following health and sanitation procedures and ensuring in-stock products.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to support store operations.
