Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is looking for a Retail Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in the United States. You will work with the Store Leader to supervise staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales through effective merchandising and programs.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to train and coach employees, and a commitment to a safe, clean store environment. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with retail management experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with Retail Management experience.
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence required.
• Experience in Retail Management preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Focus on retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees and promoting productivity.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following health and sanitation procedures and ensure products are in-stock.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with team and customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail setting.
