Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Director to lead store operations in the absence of the Store Director. You will supervise 100+ employees, manage performance, training, scheduling and payroll, and ensure excellent customer service and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include driving sales, optimizing labor, overseeing cash handling, security, and store standards while developing your team for future leadership roles within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of assistant manager experience in a multi‑department operation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
• Perishable inventory management.
• Ability to stand 100% of the shift in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the retail grocery store during the Store Director's absence.
• Forecast weekly/daily sales and manage labor to meet goals.
• Communicate goals and performance with staff to drive results.
• Schedule labor within budgets and control costs.
• Ensure promotions, product placement, and in-store appearance are optimal.
