Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead daily operations and develop the team while delivering a fast, friendly customer experience on the shop floor. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, outstanding service, and adherence to safety standards.

You will step in as Manager on Duty, supervise performance, train new teammates, and drive efficiency and quality in service delivery across a fast-paced environment. Automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to work location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty by coordinating workflow and guiding the team.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
