Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations, train crew members, and step in for the Shop Manager as needed. You will oversee service delivery, inventory, and shop standards while earning paid training and advancement opportunities within a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, in-shop flow management, and delivering excellent customer service, with weekend or shift flexibility and a focus on promoting from within the

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift to fifty pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor, ensuring every employee is where they need to be and every customer is satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
