Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations and support the Shop Manager in developing a high-performing team. You will help ensure fast, friendly customer experiences and maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

This hands-on leadership role includes Training, coaching, and stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with paid training and clear growth paths offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
