Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations and customer-focused service, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction and feedback.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations alongside the Shop Manager.
• Coach and develop team members with real-time feedback.
• Ensure fast, friendly, safe customer experiences and high-quality service.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and inventory checks.
• Support shop performance by identifying improvements and leadership tasks.
• Coordinate workflow and mentor technicians to uphold Take 5 standards.
