Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Spring, TX is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team and deliver a safe, friendly customer experience.

You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and customer service excellence, stepping in as Manager on Duty as needed. Training is provided to learn the Take 5 standards, and automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and support daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
