Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and delivering a fast, friendly customer experience, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed.

We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued, but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop operations and lead on busy periods.
• Support Shop Manager with team development and performance.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when required to ensure smooth operation.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and assist with inventory.
