Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor and support the Shop Manager with daily operations. You will help ensure a safe, efficient, customer-focused service experience and act as Manager on Duty when needed.

Experience in customer service and team leadership is required; automotive experience is valued but not required. Training is provided to learn Take 5 standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills for directing and coaching the team.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty by coordinating workflow and guiding the team.
• Lead daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to new team members.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Support inventory counts and reporting.
