Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced service team. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, guide a friendly crew, and help deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.

You’ll step in as Manager on Duty, train new hires, participate in inventory, and ensure adherence to safety standards. Automotive experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided and opportunities for advancement are strong.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in customer service in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6+ months leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coach and direct staff.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Assist with inventory counts, reporting, and follow-up on operations.
