Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help manage daily operations and coach a fast-paced team. You’ll lead on the shop floor, deliver a high-quality customer experience, and step in as Manager on Duty as needed.

We provide paid training and clear growth paths, with hands-on leadership opportunities and a focus on safety and efficiency in a busy automotive service environment. Automotive experience is valued, but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Ability to follow safety policies and provide direction to the team.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Train new team members and coach performance in real time.
• Help with opening and closing procedures and inventory tasks.
