Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead on the shop floor, support daily operations, and coach a fast-growing team. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a great customer experience in a busy service environment.

We provide paid hands-on training, and automotive experience is valued but not required. Join a fast-paced team with opportunities to advance into leadership roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and provide feedback.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed to maintain safe, efficient service.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing safety and standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform all Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory.
