Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily shop operations, lead a fast-paced team, and ensure a superior customer experience. You will step in as Manager on Duty when needed and help drive safety, efficiency, and service quality on the shop floor.

Automotive experience is valued but not required; paid training and clear career growth paths are provided to develop leadership from within the team.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction and feedback to team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently while reinforcing procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
