Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and delivering a friendly customer experience. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while upholding safety and quality standards.

We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the Take 5 way. Automated experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and direct team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and lead the team as Manager on Duty.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Ensure services meet safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and shop operations.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
