Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and a quick, friendly customer experience while ensuring safety and quality standards.

We provide paid, hands-on training and clear career growth paths. Automotive experience is valued but not required, and we offer opportunities to advance from shop roles into leadership positions based on performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ months' customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 6+ months' experience leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop operations and team development.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when required, coordinating workflow and maintaining safety and quality.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are performed accurately and safely, reinforcing company procedures and standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with daily inventory.
