Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily shop operations, develop the team, and provide a fast, friendly customer experience. You may serve as Manager on Duty, ensuring safety and efficiency while the Shop Manager is away.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Initiative, accountability, and follow-through on responsibilities.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and help keep the shop safe and efficient.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take on additional leadership responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
