Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor, support daily operations, and deliver a top-notch customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction and feedback to team.
• Initiative, accountability and follow-through on responsibilities.
• Ability to stay calm, organized and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Ability to meet age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Deliver fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take on leadership responsibilities when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Prepare opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts and reporting.
