Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced shop floor and support the Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.

You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping ensure a safe, efficient, high-quality customer experience. Paid training and a clear career path to leadership are offered, with automotive experience valued but not required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6+ months of experience leading or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication, direction, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when needed to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and inventory counts.
• Support communication, reporting, and follow-up with the shop.
