Take 5 Oil Change in the United States is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager who thrives in a fast-paced automotive service environment. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, people development, and delivering a fast, friendly customer experience.

You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, train new team members, open and close procedures, and help run inventory and reporting. Automotive experience is valued but not required, and Take 5 provides paid training and clear career

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service in fast-paced environment.
• 6+ months leading or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction and coaching.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
• Able to meet age and certification requirements.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, coordinating workflow and leading the team.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
