Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily shop operations, develop the team, and deliver a fast, friendly customer experience. You’ll cover Manager on Duty duties, help keep the shop safe and efficient, and receive paid hands-on training to learn Take 5 standards.

Automotive experience is valued but not required; the role offers opportunities for growth from technician roles into leadership with strong performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ months customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6+ months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following safety and policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily shop operations and customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Model fast, friendly service and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure services are performed accurately and safely per standards.
• Support shop performance and leadership responsibilities when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members and provide coaching.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities.
