Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager in San Antonio to lead on the shop floor and support the Shop Manager with daily operations and fast, friendly customer service.

You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, help keep the shop safe, efficient, and running smoothly, and train new team members. Automotive experience is valued but not required; paid hands-on training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations and support the Shop Manager.
• Develop and coach team members with real-time feedback.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and address customer needs.
• Ensure services are completed safely, accurately, and according to standards.
• Open and close procedures and assist with daily inventory counts and reporting.
