Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support daily operations, coach staff, and step in as Manager on Duty as needed to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills for directing and coaching team.
• Ability to stay calm, organized, and solutions-focused during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and assist Shop Manager with daily operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members; provide real-time feedback.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while upholding safety and standards.
• Identify opportunities for shop performance improvements and take on leadership tasks.
• Complete opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory.
