Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to join our fast-paced team on the shop floor. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and a friendly customer experience, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed.

We provide paid, hands-on training to learn the Take 5 way; automotive experience is valued but not required, and there are clear paths from Pit Tech to President.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• A commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Train and coach new team members and reinforce service standards.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and assist with inventory.
