Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, develop the team, and step in as Manager on Duty to keep the shop safe, efficient, and welcoming for customers.

Training is provided; automotive experience is valued but not required. Competitive hourly pay with bonus opportunities and a clear path for growth into leadership roles are highlighted in the offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months' experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction and feedback.
• Initiative and accountability with follow-through on responsibilities.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
• Age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately following procedures and standards.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and take on leadership tasks when needed.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
