Job summary

Capital Square Living is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to oversee and perform technical and maintenance work across our community. You will ensure interiors, exteriors, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

You will support the Service Manager with work orders, make-ready projects, and routine inspections, helping keep the property well-maintained and resident-focused in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools.
• Proven ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with basic computer record-keeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager by delegating and completing work orders.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and basic repairs.
• Inspect and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with policies.
• Provide routine inspections and assist with cost-control and inventory.
