Capital Square Living is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Hixson, TN to oversee and perform maintenance tasks ensuring the property meets high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role partners with the Service Manager to manage work orders and preventative maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, hands-on maintenance experience, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and basic measuring devices.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager by diagnosing defects and completing work orders.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and schedule vendors.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Inspect work and ensure quality standards; monitor contractors and vendors.
• Track supplies and stay within budget; support cost-control programs.
• Provide professional, courteous service to residents and respond to requests promptly.
