Job summary

Capital Square Living seeks an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager by diagnosing defects, completing maintenance tasks, and managing make-ready preparations for leasing. You will maintain grounds, oversee repairs, and coordinate vendors to uphold high property standards.

You will also monitor safety, quality, and budget adherence while delivering strong resident service and teamwork across the property operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience
• Must be knowledgeable and skilled in safe use of hand and power tools
• Ability to diagnose problems and apply solutions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with basic software to maintain records

Responsibilities

• Assist Service Manager by delegating and completing resident work orders and preventative maintenance
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and painting as needed
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and safety standards
• Manage inventory and order supplies within budget; support cost-control efforts
