Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee apartment community upkeep, including make-ready, preventive maintenance, and basic construction tasks. You will respond to work orders, repair appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems to keep units sale-ready and compliant with safety standards.

You will work with the Community Manager and Service Manager, perform grounds and pool duties as needed, and ensure timely, quality workmanship while maintaining property safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of multi-family experience or equivalent.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to become certified within 6 months.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.
• Pool operations certification/permits may be required by city or state.
• Must read/write English; basic OSHA knowledge useful.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Repair/replace appliances (garbage disposal, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers).
• Repair/replace plumbing (water lines, fixtures, etc.).
• Repair/replace HVAC/electrical systems as needed.
• Perform make-ready tasks and interior/exterior touch-ups.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas and storage.
