Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property upkeep under the Community Manager and Resident Services Supervisor. The role involves performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and custodial duties across the property to ensure safety and cleanliness.

The candidate should have 1+ year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid CA driver's license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for communication with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of property maintenance experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance.
• Ability to read and speak English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance projects and training as directed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets.
• Perform minor plumbing work, drain stoppages, fittings and faucets.
• Replace broken fixtures, appliances, blinds, doors and locks as directed.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces per supervisor instructions.
• Light carpentry and shelving work; assist doors and windows as needed.
• Assist custodial tasks: cleaning, trash, windows in common areas.
• Support grounds maintenance and vendor coordination when required.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours or as instructed.
