Job summary

Paycom is seeking an experienced Service/Assistant Manager for an apartment community in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include responding to work orders, performing repairs on appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, and coordinating make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2 years of multi-family maintenance experience, and HVAC/ mold certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months. Strong safety awareness and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years multi-family experience or equivalent.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Training in household repairs, plumbing and mold detection/resolution preferred; CAMT preferred.
• Must have city/state permits for pool operations where required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders; establish priorities.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry items as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and complete make-ready tasks.
• Ensure safety compliance and property hazard mitigation.
