Job summary

AOG Living is seeking an diligent Maintenance Technician to oversee property maintenance, make‑ready units, and preventative care for an apartment community. You will address resident requests, run routine inspections, and perform appliance, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and grounds duties as needed.

Daily tasks include prioritizing work orders, repairing and replacing components, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of multi-family experience or equivalent.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to become certified within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Prioritize using work orders and schedules; handle emergencies.
• Repair/replace appliances (garbage disposal, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers).
• Repair/replace plumbing including water lines, fixtures, drains.
• Repair/replace HVAC/electrical components (fans, thermostats, condensers, wiring).
• Make repairs in apartment homes to meet make-ready standards.
• Identify and correct hazardous property conditions and report to stakeholders.
• Tour property daily for deficiencies and report; secure areas and check timers.
