Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck Dealership and Leasing group seeking a Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and profit centers in accordance with company goals. You will direct department managers, plan objectives, and support growth while ensuring policy compliance and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Requires previous management experience.
• Requires thorough knowledge of all phases of branch operations.
• Prefer direct truck sales experience.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Requires strong leadership ability and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the branch.
• Establish short and long-term operating and financial objectives for the branch.
• Ensure approved policies and objectives are understood and applied throughout the branch.
• Formulate annual and monthly business plans, sales/profit objectives and budgets with department managers.
• Develop merchandising strategies with department managers to achieve objectives and supervise sales of trucks, parts and service.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and maintain communications across departments.
• Establish and maintain customer relations and act as final arbitrator between customers and department managers.
• Develop and train department managers and review performance; adjust compensation per policy; ensure proper staffing.
• Promote safe work habits and enforce safety rules.
